I purchased this a while back and it work fine. Now suddenly, for no apparent reason, it wont open. When I go to the app store it says"update" but it wont do that either. I have tried to contact the publisher but, no response and I see on the message board plenty of other people have the same problem. BE CAREFUL! I wish APPLE would look into this. Not the type of problem you expect from an item in the App Store

Ever since the update, sometimes the application quits automatically, or the black/brown binding at the top disappears mysteriously. I miss a delete button, rather than having to right click on a note, because sometimes the right click doesnt work for some reason. And most importantly, PLEASE make an update where the newest notes (most recently edited) will come back to the top of the list, and where I can change the titles of my notes! As it is now, I have to search through the list to find what I just edited, and I cant change a note title once its set.

I had problems upgrading to 1.3.6 using the App Store. My only option was to uninstall the version I already had (1.3.3), and reinstall the app through the App Store. But when I launched the new version, all my locally stored notes were gone!

Quick Note impossible to update since I continued to get a message to sign into another account to update it. The problem is that I have only one account! I deleted it using AppClean and attempted to re-install, but the update notice continued to appear as well as instructions to sign into the account I used to purchase it. Frustrating!

I tried both suggestions in the blog. Neither work after re-enabling spotlight and re-indexing it. Weird thing is that the update shows up in the "Purchases" tab in the App Store and not under the "Updates" tab. I need a fix for this ASAP as I dont want to uninstall and lose all my notes.

Works as advertised, but I want to sync lists with my phone. Other than that- great!

I loved the idea of this application and used this for a week. Then I thought my notes were backed up locally but negative so as I got a little upset and found you could sync with Diigo or whatever the cloud is I created an account. Well then after thirty syncs I lost all my notes and it started all over as this time I had over 30+ notes for school and application ideas. I am a new program developer that really liked this app but now Im on a mission to make a notes app that is so much better and will let you save your notes and sync them between devices. I love notes on Mountain Lion but there room for more and seeing a application like this I know I can create a much better application. I give you credit for creating this app but come on stop giving away apps just so you can sell a cloud service of 20 bucks a year. Lastly my app will connect to iCloud and you will only pay once for the app. Thanks All and again I dont mean to be complaining but wow I lost so many notes and being a nice guy I gave this app and so many a chance but all they seem to do is try to get you to purchase a service and give you a crap application.

For all those that are trying to sync their notes, look up the app EVERNOTE. Works awesome and allows full sync with Macbooks, iPads, iPhones, etc. Hope that helps.

This is a good app for exacly what its name implies in addition to being minimalistic and simple to use. That said, some problems need to be worked out such as the inability to update the app despite the listing as needing an update with another apple ID/profile.

I have a MacBook running OS 10.6.8, with a 64-bit processor. I just installed it, and IT WONT EVEN OPEN!!! (as the title says) Dont be fooled just because the picture looks good and its free! Dont even bother!!!!

I am not sure why the other reviewer was not able to get the application to launch correctly, but it works flawlessly on my new MacBook Air. I use Diigo for bookmarking and other purposes, so I was pleased to find this app. The one thing that could move it from 4 to 5 stars for me would be the ability to insert or attach images and (though less important) the possibility to print notes.

Quick Note version 1.3.7 will not open in mac os 10.6.8.

I need a notetaking app to jot notes down for a class since I dont want to purchase pages simply because this app would suffice for the tasks at hand. Its reads under requirements that OS X 10.6 or later is required-- Ive got 10.6.8 and its not working. I sent a report out, hopefully they find the problem because this would be a great free app to have that I would enjoy using day to day. If anyone here can give any advice, Im open for feedback just in case Im forgetting to format something simple that I forgot to do.

Seems like a promising app if it worked. Crashes immediately on 10.6.8.

On a properly configured macbook pro running 10.6.8 this app will not function. Crashes immediately, will not launch showing an error log. Tried deleting and re-installing, made no difference. No other software issues with this laptop.

. . . its very, very buggy. On an iMac running 10.7.5 it crashes at least once a day and regularly stalls, leaving me staring at the dreaded spinning ball for minutes on end. If theyd add a few more fonts and font sizes, streamline the "print" function to accommodate b/w printing and speed/polish it up a bit it would be worth paying a modest fee for. As it is, though, it has me looking for any other app of this kind that mimics Apples own "Notes." Here endeth the rant.

Lost all of my notes. I contacted the developer but no reply yet. Will not work on 10.6.8 it crashes

Absolute garbage. Try to select text and copy it - good luck, you get a pop up instead.
