5 stars when it includes: -font size selection, and more font choices -ability to sync notes to dropbox

I really like the app. nice to look at and easy to see your notes.. the major issue i have noticed… and I though they fixed that… is that the app has a HUGE bug where it has been eating up my cpu.. i notice my macbook air was running at 100% cpu and the cpu was running at 90 degrees celcius.. That is NOT good especially when the app should only be taking up about .1 cpu… fix this and then I may reinstall it… deleted it and am going to use another app or just use text edit..

Installing the new version of this app ERASED all my notes!!! Not pleased at all!

I have Notes on my iPhone and use it all the time. I was looking for the same to use on my iMac. The simplicity of this applicatiion gives it power. It work very well to keep short notes, organized, easy to find later. No fuss. On my new iMac I was looking for a simple yet efficient way to keep notes. Post-it on the desktop becomes messy. I new "doc" created and file for each short notes is a too long process. If you often have to remember short notes: battery performance, date you install some applications, quotes, instructions to perform a task, accounts name, get this easy, small officient application, you will love it. I do. It couldnt be any simpler and so efficient. --------------- FRANCAIS Ce petit programme sur mon iPhone est une merveille. Aujourdhui je me cherchais le meme programme pour mon iMac. Minuscule application tres pratique pour conserver des courtes notes bien ordonnees. Liste depicerie, liste de comptes, citations, information quelconque. Tres facile a retrouver plus tard, les notes secrivent en un rien de temps, puis sont sauvegardees automatiquement. Le premier mot de la premiere ligne devient le titre. Simple comme bonjour, extremement efficace. Essayez-le!

Cant even open it

Cant access my notes, a simple text application would have been more reliable. Cant trust these developpers anymore : bye bye !!!

Ive spent countless hours trying to get this app back working, alternating between messages saying download from the account originally purchased from to failing to open after update, install, reinstall, etc. Others appear to have had similar problems (according to the Diigo support site) but no solutions are being offered. OS is 10.6.8 if that matters. Time to find a new solution to a simple problem. . .

after updating it my quick note no longer WORKS what the hell is this?? all my notes are gone, thanks for ruining my life it says to make sure Im running the correct Mac OS X but mine is 10.6.8, which should obviously let me run it, but it wont do not download this piece of crap it doesnt even work.

Yes, program crashes and doesnt save a copy of what you have written. Will be uninstalling.

Ive been using Quicknote since August. Starting May of this year, its crashing regularly and THE WORST part is that all notes taken since the last launch are deleted and lost forerver. Just today, I was in a 2 hour meeting a took 4 pages of notes. Everything is lost. You lost my trust, I am removing Quick Note

I have now developed my dislike for this app. When a friend and I were working quite hard on a project, it just randomly quit on us and deleted more then half the stuff weve written down. Its happened to me so many times and I cant take it anymore. I hate this app. Never using it again.

would not open, unistalled

This app is fine for a single but important job--taking casual notes. For me, a much easier-to-use and quicker interface than the "stickies" approach. Developer has stated intention to integrate with Evernote, Dropbox, etc. and to make the interface slicker, which would be some nice icing on the cake. But it does its main job well already--providing a highly accessible place to jot down ideas in an organized way.

Does what it is supposed to do capably and best of all, it is free. Those of us who are using the Note app on ipad will find this free app on Mac especially helpful. Highly recommended.

Like it a lot since is quite lightweight (launches fast!) and pretty straightforward without any unnessesary features which all results in a decent productivity tool. However its not good enough to replace native Stickies app - heres why: - cant traverse through notes in side panel with keyboard; - no advanced text editing (boldness, italics, underlining); - minimum app height it too high, would like to see more flexibility here, but I know the min. height is fixed because of side panel.

Authors - you are great! Thanks for the good app and good idea. Please stylize "+", "-" and "list" buttons as Notes fot iPhone. Replace the skin bar for the system style bar (just make thin line with (x) (-) (+) buttons Wait for goole sync.

Feels like I lost all my valuable notes

This app several times erased all my information I wrote in it after I was collecting that info during 2-3 days. Dont use it!!!
