Not working anymore

I used to enjoy this app simply because of its notetaking purpose. But recently, it just stopped opening. I wanted to see some notes I had writen down and it just woulndt open at all. I tried uninstalling the app and then installing it again but the same thing kept happening so I just deleted the app for good. I have the 10.8.4 version and I am very disappointed with it.
Im thinking the NOTES app that comes with this software would be a better alternative to Quick Note.
